Executive Administration, Inc. (EAI) is an association management company with twelve association clients, all small to medium-sized specialty medical societies.
Curt was hired to serve the Society of Surgical Oncology, which in the fall of 2012 decided they were ready to manage themselves and discontinued their contract, replacing the staff.
When Curt joined EAI as Web/Communications Manager for their client, the Society of Surgical Oncology, the web-developer selection process was just completed. Curt began gathering site requirements from the society’s leadership and querying members to determine desired features of the new website.
Over 12 months he and various committees and the developer re-worked the existing, static Website, integrated member data, developed customized calendar and news sections, devised a portal to the society’s journal, and established several member-only forums.
Since launch, he has also initiated a video library of surgical procedures, and created a social media presence for the members’ public and private use.
Along with his online activities, Curt has designed a membership promotion exhibit booth, recruitment collateral, print and email membership newsletters, and annual meeting support publications.
